How listings work

Every business here is a real trading business — either added by its owner, or seeded from the public companies register before it joins.

A claimed listing is run by the business itself: its own phone number, services, photos and reviews, kept current by the owner. An unclaimed listing shows only the name, trade and town from the public register, until the owner claims it.

A rating on a profile always comes from somewhere real — the business's own collected reviews, or its Google Business Profile, linked out so you can check it yourself. We never invent a rating, and we never combine reviews collected on another site into one score of our own.
