The function room comfortably seats around 76 guests. For standing events or parties we can accommodate more.
Yes, we ask for a small deposit to secure your booking. The amount depends on the event and can be discussed when you enquire.
Absolutely. There is a good-sized stage with plenty of height, and a projector screen that comes down for it. Most bands and DJs bring their own PA, so check with us when you book if you need sound provided. Just let us know in advance and we will have the room ready.
Live music typically runs until around 11pm on Saturdays, but this can vary. Private function room events can run later by arrangement.
Yes. Everything is on one floor, so once you are inside there are no steps anywhere, and the toilets are on that same level. The main entrance on Market Street has steps, but there is a side entrance with a slope for step-free access — just let us know when you arrive and we will point you round.
No membership is required. Everyone is welcome at The Legion. Just walk in and grab a drink.
We do not currently serve a full food menu but snacks and bar nibbles are usually available. For function room bookings, catering can be arranged.
